Iowa Public Radio is looking for a severe migraine or cluster headache sufferer to interview for Migraine Headache Awareness Month. Just contact Lindsey Moon on twitter at: @lindseysmoon or @IPRtalk

They’re looking for a participant located in Iowa so please only contact them if you’re in the area! I offered to help but I’m in New York so I am of no use to them unfortunately. I figured I’d do the next best thing and forward the message to all of my readers to see if any of you would want this media opportunity to share your story and raise migraine awareness. Don’t worry if you’ve never done it before I’d even coach you through it I just want to help them find a severe sufferer to interview because it’s great that Iowa’s public radio is so interested in migraine and cluster headache awareness.

Here’s their website:

  1. I’m the producer looking for someone to talk with. I am a migraine sufferer myself…. I have migraine with aura and have “Alice in Wonderland” syndrome. I’d love to talk with you if you want to share what it’s like and how headaches affect your life. I know they do a lot to interrupt mine.

    • I hope I can help you Lindsey let me know if any users contact you if not you can tweet me anytime for a story on cluster headache, daily chronic migraine with aura, neuropathy, or Vasculitis,

    • Hi Lindsey, I would love to talk to you about cluster hedaches and the impact they have on the lives of the people who suffer from them. There is no known cause and no real primary treatment for them. I have had them for over 20 years starting out as a episodic sufferer. * years ago I converted to a chronic status and have since progressed further down the spirial of the disorder. I would be happy to share my story with you
